Yearbook 1 & 2
Course Description: Students will learn and apply basic photojournalism skills in order to document, compile, and preserve memories, news, achievements, and accomplishments within the Decatur School District. Students will be responsible for covering all activities occuring during the school year and assisting with picture days in order to complete the yearbook for the school year. Various class duties include: photographing activities, sports, field trips, etc. district wide, selling advertisements, promoting yearbooks sales, etc.
Introduction to World Agriculture
Course Description: Students completing this course of study will be introduced to the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources pathway. This is a foundation course for Agricultural programs. Basic Agricultural concepts are introduced and students explore careers in the Agricultural industry. Students will also be introduced to the FFA, Leadership, and Supervised Agricultural Experiences.
